VISIT TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

How holy this feast, in which Christ is our food, His passion is recalled, grace fills our hearts, and we receive a pledge of the glory to come.

V. Lord you have given them bread from heaven.
R. Having all sweetness within it.

V. Let us pray: Lord Jesus Christ, you gave us the Eucharist as the memorial of your suffering and death. May our worship of this Sacrament of your Body and Blood help us to experience the redemption you won for us, and the peace of the kingdom, where you live with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.

Or:

O Sacrament of Mercy, sign of unity, bond of Charity: whoever wishes to live, has this to live on!

V. Where charity and love are found,
R. There is God.

V. Let us pray: O God, through the Paschal Mystery of Your Son, You realized the work of man's redemption. Grant that this Sacrament of Mercy be transformed into a sign of unity, and a bond of charity in our lives. Grant this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER BEFORE THE BLESSED SACRAMENT

We adore you, we bless you, and we praise you, for remaining close to us, for allowing us to visit you, for enabling us to speak with you, for being a God close to us. We give you thanks for your Word, which enlightens us; for your Eucharist which makes us strong; for your love which redeems and saves us.
